Bushnell Pro 1600 Tournament Edition Laser Rangefinder with Pinseeker Review.
Last week I bought this rangefinder and played the home environment and in a short period of golf course. To keep the story, I mentioned some of the pros and cons below. Just a quick note to say that based on what I read, you should know that if you play tournaments, is not acceptable use of the device.
Chance of lens A case damage is nice with him, but fate was covered only included to the eyepiece. The aim of the laser light and lenses not covered includes highly likely that these targets are received in the case and that would be undesirable to delete every time you want to use. Because hidden surface of the case, you might think that damage to these targets was unlikely. Being a photographer of hunger, however, found naked glasses to protect themselves.
Possibility of theft and filled the pockets of everyone in my golf bag, I had a case involving a carriage drawn bag during one of the few times I walked the course. This agreement has worked in the field, but I felt compelled to take with me when I first tee off in the direction Club on the back nine. The case Bushnell has written boldly on it and it draws attention. I just thought it might not be that when I left. If you’re playing in a golf cart powered, just had to turn away from the site in one pocket and the car is not really a problem.
The distance from the flag against distance from the center of the green from 120 feet to the outside, I found the ball accurately enough to worry about the distance from the flag. Rather than the distance from the center of the green that shows a GPS unit.
Obscured target if you can see the destination, you can not get the range. For those of us who spend more time than we like to admit in the woods or in adjacent streets, this can be a problem if you are considering a rangefinder instead of a GPS.
Accuracy hit over 225 yards offshore of the fairways so the distances beyond this range are rarely necessary. Within this distance, was easily able to rank the flag, also on days with wind and looked away.
This practice a wide range for me. I like to hit practice balls real grass practice fields, but never really know what the yardage markers like the tees are moved regularly. This unit, I do not know the range of all the objectives of the range.
Most tickets are not required GPS unit require some sort of subscription to use the unit and, even then, the course may not be “marked”.
A utility I like the advantage of being able to go to any area of the field. It helps to know the distance of sand traps, trees, lakes with a variety of other risks.
I’m sure I could write more, but these can be an examination of other, once I had the opportunity to gain experience with this unit. As a rangefinder, are very impressed by this product, but I think a GPS unit could find its way into my bag my game much better in the near future.
As a final note on Amazon.com, I was lucky with this vendor. I bought in addition to this unit, a Samsung 52 inch LCD TV and a “monster” power center without incident and all with excellent service. Thanks Amazonas.
